SUMMARY:

  Responsible for removing, replacing, and safe-guarding drop boxes; counting and verifying the contents of all table games drop boxes, slot machine drop boxes, and kiosk drop boxes by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Remove and replace drop boxes from machines and table games;
• Assure protection of casino assets;
• Report any suspicious activity to the supervisor;
• Count and confirm gaming and related items as needed;
• Sort and count the contents of drop boxes;
• Enter count information into the computer system;
• Work with cage staff to verify counts;
• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance;
• Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and one to three months of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, written, or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• A Class III Swinomish Gaming Commission License is required upon employment.
