SUMMARY:

We are currently looking for a hardworking and motivated individual to join our Electronic Gaming Team as a Slot Technician. The Slot Technician assists with the installation and servicing of gaming machines. Maintains gaming devices pertaining to all slot systems and performs machine testing by disassembling, modifying and reassembling minor and major equipment components and provides technical assistance and training to system users.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Advises Lead Slot Technician/Management of status of day-to-day operations pertaining to Slot Tech department.
- Updates inventory when parts are used or received.
- Assists with cabling and installation of gaming parts and machines.
- Uses valid troubleshooting techniques to determine the cause of malfunctions on gaming machine and systems.
- Perform cashbox drops by opening/closing terminal doors as needed and assisting if needed with the drop.
- Review and prioritize tickets to be worked on and makes repairs accordingly. Checks history of problems with each gaming machine as needed.
- Performs periodic gaming machine and parts maintenance in accordance with the procedures for preventative maintenance.
- Reviews applicable gaming reports to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the gaming department.
- Coordinate with necessary Tribal Gaming and Facilities regarding various issues to resolve issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Experience in a casino environment is preferred.
- Experience with installation, troubleshooting, problem solving and restoration techniques is preferred.
- AA or equivalent from a two year college or technical school preferred.
- Minimum one year of basic electrical and mechanical related experience.
- Working knowledge of computer systems.
